Agritools

Agritools is an innovative project lead by a young and passionate Italian team, which aims to understand the real effects of the use of ICTs in the field of agriculture, fisheries and livestock in Africa.

Part of the work of Agritools is to collect, document and share success stories in the field of ICT4Ag in Africa. To this end, the Agritools team has traveled thorough different rural areas of four African countries (namely Senegal, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana) and interviewed farmers and other ICT4Ag stakeholders with the main objective of investigating the impact resulting from the digital revolution on the lives of rural people and on their relationship with the land, food and traditions.

Since 2007, e-Agriculture represents a reliable and neutral common ground where people from all over the world exchange information, ideas, and resources related to the use of ICT for sustainable agriculture and rural development.

This is the reason why e-Agriculture and Agritools have decided to join forces so to collect and share even more ICT4Ag testimonies. Through this page you will be able to gain access to all of the ICT4Ag stories available in Agritools.org and - if you wish to share your experience with the rest of the community and see your project displayed in the Agritools crowdmap - you can easily submit one by clicking the "Share your story now!" button.
