Welcoming new member to the e-Agriculture team: Fréjus Thoto, from Benin

Fréjus Thoto joined the e-Agriculture team in January 2013, and he will be working remotely from Benin during the next months, providing special support to the French interface of e-Agriculture: www.e-Agriculture.org/fr

I am Fréjus Thoto, originally from Benin, a west-African country. I am about to complete a MSc. of Agricultural Economics for agricultural and rural development and I got the Certificate of "Science and Policy of Climate Change" from TERI and the World Bank.
In reference to my professional activities, I am also currently working as YPARD's National Representative in Benin, and I am also involved with the International Youth Platform for Sustainable Development (YouDev) as Coordinator. I have initiated and managed two projects funded by the European Union and the United Nations for Beninese youth capacity building in agribusiness. I am part of the CTA Platform on ICT4D and youth. I am endowed with acceptable Web 2.0 and knowledge management capacities with relevant abilities in working with Drupal.
Working with e-Agriculture Team is a great opportunity for me to contribute to that interesting Community of Practice. My objective is to assist the e-Agriculture initiative to increase awareness of the potential of ICTs for agricultural and rural development through effective knowledge sharing.
