After a number of formative experiences travelling internationally and working in the private sector, I recently returned to graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in international affairs with a focus on global issues. While taking a course on food security in developing countries, I became interested in the need for more comprehensive and integrated solutions for development, and I began to recognize the limitations that the availability and accessibility of technology places on the advancement of individuals and communities. These interests have led me to my current role as an intern with the e-Agriculture Community. I'm excited to be starting my career in development at a time when there is an unprecendented growth of technologies to drive change and a growing awareness about the challenges we face as a global community.
