The Warana Wired Village Project was launched as an attempt to modernize farmers' co-operatives in Warana Nagar, Maharashtra, India. Existing co-operatives have been ICT-enabled to increase farmers' capacities for information exchange in a government-driven experiment to discover the potential of rural ICT.
