Description

The International Conference of ICT for Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change (AACC'17) will be held at Popayán (Colombia) on November 22-24, 2017. This conference is organized by Inter-Institutional Network for Climate Change and Security Food of Colombia - RICCLISA.

AACC'17 brings together scholars and practitioners with common interest in the interdisciplinary fields of ICT applied to Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change. The conference provides an opportunity for participants to share knowledge and novel approaches in the application of information and communications technology to solutions that allow improving the agricultural production in climate change scenarios. These include decision support and early warning systems for agriculture, sustainable water management, predictive models of growth and crop production, land cover dynamics for agricultural systems, networking for supporting the adaptation of climate change and food security.

Submitted papers will be subject to stringent peer review by at least three experts and carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings to be published by Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC).
