Forum: “The Role of Public Private Partnership (PPPs) in Asia” March, 2008

In the final week we began reviewing the key points identified in Week I with linkages to content (existing and potential) identified in Week II, and then sought a more in-depth review of these priority areas. We looked for ideas on where the e-Agriculture community should consider going next with PPP, and we discussed how the valuable output from this forum could be further disseminated, including at key international venues. A summary report of all three weeks was written and was circulated once the Forum had finished.

Making E-Agriculture Work through Public Private Partnership in Asia Summary Week I discussion: From March 10 to March 15th 2008

Building on the issues and successes identified in the first week, the second week proved to be an opportunity to look for cases, existing or potential, that could be brought together to form the basis of "good practices and lessons learned" resource. We discussed the potential for a generally accepted method or format of presenting cases and some standards such that we can build a comprehensive body of materials that remain comparable and useful over time. A Summary Report of Week II will be written and circulated at the end of Monday 24 March.
