Is it possible to effectively analyze the socio-economic impact of ICT in rural areas?

This forum was organized by GTZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and partners. 24 November to 1 December 2010.

This online discussion followed a successful face-to-face conference "ICT for Rural Economic Development" held in Berlin in 2010. During this forum, the facilitators encouraged participants to share their insights relating to the socio-economic impact of ICT in rural areas, methods of analysis, and how to make this information widely accessible and available.
