About this webinar

Grameen Foundation, in collaboration with the Philippine Coconut Authority, Franklin Baker, and People’s Bank of Caraga launched FarmerLink to increase farming households’ incomes and resilience by improving their productivity, providing them access to appropriate financial products and services, linking them directly to markets, and reducing their losses to pests, diseases and weather calamities.

The program used a suite of digital interventions to direct and leverage existing field officer networks in deploying the mobile tools and offering one-to-one extension services to farmers. An early warning system was developed and deployed to directly send weather, pest, and diseases advisories to farmers’ mobile phones, along with practical advice to minimize losses.

The webinar will present the strategy used to develop and deploy FarmerLink, and review results of an 18-month pilot implementation
